Since its original release in 1992, this movie has been edited again and again by the various companies who have acquired it over the years and released it on different VHS and DVD formats. Video companies have made different edits over different releases; many eliminating 15 – 20 minutes of footage, misspelling titles and credits, and generally tainting it entirely. The original director’s cut has not been officially released since it appeared on HBO in the early 90s. Here now is the one and only officially restored version of this comedy, with all scenes in tact. This version was put together utilizing source material available to the director, not always the best quality. However, he has meticulously reconstructed the film as close as he could to its original 1992 glory.
